New sword, new scabbard, old by-knife.

A central place to talk about weapons and armour, as it relates to your kit. This is where you show it of or talk about making it. Discussing the relative merits of types of weapons goes in the WMA section.

New sword, new scabbard, old by-knife.

Post by theowl »

I was at Socal Swordfight this past weekend, both as a vendor and a student. Before setting up I ran over to the Albion table and grabbed this sword before Mike even had a chance to display it.

I made the scabbard for it last night/today, and integrated my Helle viking that I've been using as a by-knife for ages.

The belt has been my swordbelt for ages. It uses buckles (from Elleth's shapeways) on the belt and scabbard strap so you can easily remove the sword and wear the belt alone, or switch between different swords if you'd like.

Beautiful work!

And I must say, the Castellan is my all-time favorite Albion. Great score there!

Yeah, I've had my eye on one for a bit, and the chance to grab one without having to wait 16+ months is even better.

She looks like the perfect ranger sword. I especially love the detailing on the belt. For Gondor, and the city of Minas Tirith!

That scabbard knot is gorgeous!! I’d love to know what kind it is so I can implement it later. Love the belt design too!!

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory; I only love that which they defend.
