Horse Bow

I was planning on purchasing a new bow for this year, and I thought that it would be good to ask the forum's opinions on my choice. I have a simple longbow now (as you may have seen in a couple pictures), but the draw length and weight is not right for me. The bow I would like to buy is a Hungarian Horse bow from a seller in Ungarn, Hungary. As a rule, I generally stay away from eBay, but they seem to be a fair seller, and can customize each bow per order. I believe it is a Kassai bow for approx. $224 (shipping & handling included). I'd like to get a 45 or 50lb draw weight and a standard draw length. Color scheme would be hunter green & light brown. Here's the link:

What do you think?

I'd encourage you to save your money and get a Saluki bow.

That said, Kassai works..as does Grozer from Kult of Athena.

I have the Magyar from Kult of Athena; made by either Kassai or Grozer. It's a decent bow. It shoots well and the smaller size of the bow makes it a bit easier to handle for me. But when I get the next horse bow, I'll get a Saluki.

Just my opinion.

I see that ebay seller has both Grozer and Kassai bows at very good prices. I'd save a little extra cash and get one from either of those makers. I used to own a Kassai Hun and it was one of the best bows I've ever shot.
