Arrow making materials.

A central place to talk about weapons and armour, as it relates to your kit. This is where you show it of or talk about making it. Discussing the relative merits of types of weapons goes in the WMA section.

Nice site. I can't remember the seller, but I got 12 arrows off of e-bay for about $65? I think it was? I need to get out and shoot my bow. I personally gain much more satisfaction watching the feather fletched cedar arrow fly toward the target than I ever did with my compound bow and aluminum arrows. When I ever try my hand at fletching, I'll give these guys a try.

I am a big fan of 3riversarchery.com. I have ordered quite a bit from them including cedar arrows. It is a bit more expensive, but great quality.

You can save a bundle by making your own.

For the last 5 years I've owned and studied the techniques shown in this book: "Naked Into The wilderness: Primitive Wilderness Living & Survival Skills" -John & Geri MacPherson ISBN:0-9678777-7-b

The book has some lessons on primitive bow and arrow making that might be of interest here. I bought the book primarily to study primitive hide tanning and firemaking, but have been thinking about attempting to make a bow and arrows using these methods. It looks labor intensive but it would definitely be cheap.

I am a huge fan of 3 rivers myself but I always check other sites for deals. I got a lot of stuff I want to order from 3 rivers when I get some money.
