Looking good. I particularly like that your garments are so similarly cut. It adds to the 'from the same locale" look. Keep em coming!

Re: Pictures from Dale
Awesome pics! If I were to add anything, it would be a flag of your country.

Re: Pictures from Dale
We would like a flag. The symbol of Dale is a Black Arrow because the arrow that King Bard shot and killed Smaug with was black. So we would like to create a cool design for that. I am thinking a Green flag with the black arrow. I also want to get some leather breastplates made that have a black arrow on the chest.

Cool pics. I like the similarity between outfits too.

Re: Pictures from Dale
I like it! Nice sword, btw.
I love how legit you guys look. From today forth, I'm probably going to wind up imagining men in canvas with targe shields and stiff cut-and-thrust swords everytime I read the last third of the hobbit.

Now the sword shall come from under the cloak.

Re: Pictures from Dale
Okay, my mind just went blank. What is the knife style in the top pic called? I like it. They all are nice blades.

It's a scottish dirk made by Stash David. He does excellent work. I believe it is copied off of one from around the 1600's, but don't quote me on that.
Re: Pictures from Dale
personally, I would choose black arrow on blue field. because the colour of water is blue...jbook wrote:We would like a flag. I would have to check the text, but I think the background is supposed to be blue.

I am sure it is in The Hobbit. We do try for some authenticity here at the MERF LOL
